This just made me realize that animals have literally zero awareness of other animals that they haven’t seen.

Well this a horse, it could literally see zebras everyday but today one is scary. They go through life jumpier than a guy with ptsd on amphetamines. The amount of times I had to calm down a horse cause it decided an inanimate object it saw everyday was scary I'd be pretty well off. Dont even get me started on the clear threat of butterflies...
