Best part is after the catch. The dog looks around like "Hey, all that cheering is for me?"

That’s cool but Uncle Rico could throw that over a mountain.

I appreciate you so much for this Napoleon Dynamite reference also I just realized recently that Harold from total drama sounded like Napoleon and sure enough he's a parody of Napoleon lol

Sure the catch is cool but most people have no idea how hard it would be to throw a frisbee/disc that far. I play disc golf, that throw is amazing.

95yards...right down the middle. 30K+ people watching. No biggie.

Not to be that guy, but this is a cfl field which is 110 yards end zone to end zone so it was actually 105 yards, right down the middle!

Every time I see this clip I think "casual 300+ ft bomb with a sonic... cool, cool, cool" then I throw my entire bag in the garbage.

Edit: realized my footage was waaaaay off

And it's a lightweight dog catch disc (probably 130-140g, and shaped like a putter)

All I could think after watching this for the third time. Equally impressive on both ends to me.

I love the look around like ‘why are there so many people at this dog park’

Hell yeah, looks like it's chilly judging by we can see people's breath and since it's a short-haired dog I'm sure that coats doing work to keep her cosy

Thought this was an NFL field for a second there, then I saw the two 50yd lines lol.

Yup, that was at a Calgary Stampeders game. I love CFL games so fast and lots of action.

Dang, I wanted to hear the crowd cheer when he caught it, but I guess someone thought covering it up with music was better.

Those two seem like they would be useful assets on an Ultimate team.

Longest catch AND it's by a dog?

Don't you mean the longest catch BY a dog?

1

u/Ferb1802 2d ago

Guy: go long

Dog: no, I'll go the longest

I'm sorry to bring on a bit of a downer, but "longest catch"?

What exactly does that mean?

The furthest distance that someone/thing had to travel to catch an object after it had been thrown and before it hit the ground.

This is hardly WTF.
