Megathread [D2] Trials of Osiris Megathread [2024-06-28]

Trials of Osiris is LIVE

This thread is for all general discussion, questions, thoughts, musings, wonderings, etc. for the Trials of Osiris.

FAQ

What are the Trials of Osiris?

  • Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle PvP activity. Every Weekend, the best players compete in 3v3 Elimination for one goal: Go Flawless.

  • To start, head to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and buy one of the possible passages (see below).

  • To reach Flawless and get to the Lighthouse, you need to win 7 matches without losing one.

  • It uses connection and weekly performance based matchmaking, which means you'll face teams with a similar amount of wins on their card. Matches will get harder as you win more matches on that same card, and for all cards, the matches you get will be based on your overall performance so far for that week.

  • There is fireteam matchmaking. However, we still recommend you find a team for yourself!

  • Power Level matters, however bonus power from the artifact is not enabled.

How Long do the Trials of Osiris last?

  • Event Starts: Every Friday at Daily Reset (1700 UTC).

  • Event Ends: Following Tuesday at Weekly Reset (1700 UTC).

Where do I go to find Guardians to team up with?

  • You can use the in-game Fireteam Finder or head over to /r/Fireteams, www.The100.io, Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or go to the Bungie.net recruitment forum (also available through the Bungie App). Additionally, many Discord servers host fireteam LFG services.

What if I have a question about another piece of armor/weapon or general Trials question?

  • Use Control + F (Or Command + F if on a Mac) and search for keywords in your question. Someone may have asked it already. If not, ask below in the comments.

Rewards

  • Reputation Rank 4: Upgrade Module (2)

  • Reputation Rank 7: Enhancement Prism (3)

  • Reputation Rank 10: Trials Weapon (Changes for each rank reset)

  • Reputation Rank 13: Upgrade Module (2)

  • Reputation Rank 16: Trials Weapon (Changes for each rank reset)

  • Flawless Reward: Shayura's Wrath (Adept)

Reputation System, Trials Engrams, and Adept Farming

Win individual rounds within each match to gain Trials reputation. The amount of reputation you gain increases with each round you've won on your card. Earn enough reputation, and you'll be able to claim a Trials Engram from Saint-14! This engram can be focused into any currently available Trials loot you have previously obtained, or it can be redeemed for a random Trials drop. Your reputation increases after every match completion, based on the number of round-wins on your card, regardless of the result of that match itself (win or lose, 0-5 or 5-4).

Once you have gone Flawless, keep playing! Every win you achieve while at the 7-win level, even if you lose your Flawless, has a chance to drop bonus Trials Engrams, adept weapons, prisms, and even Ascendant Shards. There is no penalty for losing once you've made it to the Lighthouse!

When you're done, you can cash in your 7-win passage for one additional adept drop, granted you have gone Flawless that week. This resets your card so you can start anew.

Passages

Name Perk Cost
Passage of Persistence Losses following a win remove the win from the card. Reaching seven wins rewards the weekly Adept weapon. Reaching seven wins without having a win removed grants access to the Lighthouse. This passage cannot be used to focus Adept weapons. 1500 Glimmer
Passage of Ferocity Your third match win grants a bonus win. 1500 Glimmer
Passage of Mercy Forgives one loss per run. Forgives a second loss if you have not yet been flawless this week. 1500 Glimmer
Passage of Wealth Increased reputation from match wins on a ticket. 2500 Glimmer
Passage of Confidence Grants bonus rewards from Flawless Chest. 5000 Glimmer

SGA TIL: Killing the glassway boss kills the LAST 4 barrier champions

Just tag the four of them and melt the boss. The game automatically kills the champs as long as you damage the four, counting it towards your kill.

Just make sure the mini hydra boss is dead before you do anything above.

Should save minimum 5 minutes this way.

Edit: I claim "should" because it could take longer or shorter depending on the competency of the fireteam. Some elitists in the comment section aren't exactly the brightest in reading the nuance of the word "should". English is my second language too lmao.

Discussion I remember there being strikes in the vanguard ops playlist.

Umm so yeah haven't had a strike in a fat minute. Been nothing but battle grounds. Where are the strikes I think they are hiding.

Bungie Suggestion glassway really shows the fact that platinum should be like 90% of the champions, not 100%

1.4k Upvotes

it's not that deep, things like glassway really exemplify how stupid the current design is because people keep nuking the boss because they either don't know any better, or don't care, and sometimes in a nightfall a checkpoint will fire WHILE YOU'RE KILLING A CHAMPION and it'll despawn instead of allow you to kill it, because one of your teammates ran ahead, screwing you out of platinum.

there are too many things that can screw over platinum's ridiculous 100% requirement for it to be a requirement for best loot in matchmade playlists. the stupidity of my teammates isn't my fault, so why should I be penalized for it?

an even better question, i think, is, why is platinum even tied to rewards at all?

just let it be a cosmetic bragging rights thing for triumphs and seals.

Bungie Suggestion Exotic Class Item grind is downright not fun.

Making exotic armor more accessible through the various Rahool changes and ritual playlists dropping exotic engrams were great changes. A good exotic armor piece can really enhance or outright change the way a subclass plays, and they are fundamental to the experience of modern Destiny 2. When the prismatic exotic class items were first announced, I knew they'd be very fun, but I also immediately had a suspicion acquiring these would be miserable due to sparse details on how they'd actually drop. Exotics, especially exotic armor, are not like legendary weapons. They can play a much more significant role in how you engage with the game, and locking that behind a pure rng grind would be a nightmare.

Well, TFS is here, Dual Destiny released and lo and behold, getting an exotic class item is miserable.

8 perks per column, 64 combinations, and no knockout system or any type of deterministic method to actually acquire what you want. Dual Destiny was fun the first few times but it's quickly getting old, and even a solid sub-20 minute run time doesn't help when it's a slim chance at getting the correct roll. Overthrow can be farmed mindlessly but is boring and has a slower farm speed due to being rng dependent. I get one class item about every 3~ Overthrows, and that's including using a ghost mod and hunting around for chest spawns while I do them.

These class items are a fundamental part of prismatic and yet getting ahold of them is pure luck, and it sucks.

Experimenting with new ideas and builds is a big reason of what makes Destiny enjoyable, and Prismatic was supposed to be like that. There are lots of things I'd love to try, I very badly want a HoIL+Synthos roll for each class plus many others. But with the other issues Prismatic has, how long it takes to get class item drops, and how little control I have over working towards my goal, I've reached my apathy threshold. I could get exactly what I want my next Overthrow run, or more likely, I could run a hundred more and not have it. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, so why bother?

In an ideal world these class items would have worked like aeons, with two mod slots that can be swapped as you see fit. Of course, this would make it a one and done since it doesn't have stat rolls like other exotics, but it was Bungie's choice to make them class items in the first place. Even if you had to unlock all of the perks by getting a couple per run, it would have been a significantly better experience than what we currently have. I've seen a few suggestions to make the class items craftable, and while I'd love that, I think the aeons-like option would have been more realistic given the crafting system likely wouldn't be easy to re-tool for a non-weapon use. But anything that at least feels like I'd have control over reaching my goal would be better than this.

Guide Ergo Sum preferred frame discussion

This is my exploration of the different rolls apart from Caster+Perfect Fifth and their utility aside from pure damage.

There are some good rolls of Ergo Sum - I've been keeping every drop with the view of sieving through them once I've collected a bunch and keeping the best for each exotic perk.

There are a few recommendations we've seen for the popular exotic perks, but I was hoping to collect info here to try to get a bit of consensus of which are the best to target and keep for each of the perks.

Generally I am assuming you want Swordmaster's Guard in all cases as it is the only one that improves charge rate

Frame damage

I did some quick and dirty testing to get an idea of the damage and ammo use of each frame heavy attack with Ergo Sum

Frame Damage breakdown Damage total Ammo used Note
Wave 41,526 wave, 15,199 impact, 17,732 follow-up swing 74,457 4 The follow up hit wasn't super reliable to hit
Lightweight 45,326 impact 45,326 3
Aggressive 45,595 impact 45,595 3
Vortex 9,499 * 6 impact 56,994 6 Worst ammo economy
Caster 5,288 * 10 burn 52,880 4 In my testing it seemed sometimes it would hit fewer times

The Wave appears to have the best damage and ammo economy, but the follow-up hit is challenging to hit. If you are able to hit the impact and follow-up reliably then this appears to be a very good default frame.

The Caster frame is decent damage/ammo, but does less damage than Wave. I feel like this is also a decent default option though due to being able to aim it much better than Wave and you can hit flying enemies with it if needed.

The Vortex appears to have bad ammo economy.

Light and Aggressive do very similar damage and same ammo - if Light attacks faster then it would be the better option (my anecdotal feeling is that it's faster but I didn't measure it). Because they are single target damage I feel these are less flexible than Wave and Caster.

If I'm not sure of a specific synergy frame+perk, I will go for Wave first and Caster second. Vortex appears to be the worst frame due to the worse ammo economy.

Perk breakdowns

Perk Energy Preferred frame Notes
Wolfpack Rounds All Lightweight Lightweight frame has the quickest heavy attack, which is helpful when rotating with a heavy sword.
Gathering Light All Wave This one procs via rapid final blows, so the assumption is larger AOE attacks are more useful.
The Perfect Fifth Solar Caster There is a special interaction with caster frame making it one of the highest DPS swords in the game.
Sacred Flame Solar Wave This one procs with any heavy attack, and the Wave follow-up attack appears to count as a light attack and triggers the explosion so that seems to be the best fit for this perk. The explosion doesn't do a heap of damage - was around 6k in my testing.
Stormbringer Arc Wave This one procs via rapid final blows, however using Wave and Caster often will kill everything before the storm appears. Not sure how useful this one is tbh.
Arc Conductor Arc Wave/Lightweight This one procs with any heavy attack, so it could give add clear to any frame including the single target ones. Wave is good as usual here, but Lightweight also works really well for the improved ammo economy just to keep Arc conductor up for longer.
Unplanned Reprieve Void Wave/Caster This one procs with any heavy attack, and generates 8 projectiles upon the first hit when testing with Caster and Wave. Caster felt surprisingly good with this one as it would generate and explode the projectiles if the first tick didn't kill the enemy.
Insectoid Robot Grenades Void Wave This one procs via final blows, so the assumption is larger AOE attacks are more useful. This perk feels quite slept on - running it with a Wave frame would spawn a bunch of robots which would go and clean up enemies who were slightly further away.

Takeaways / TLDR

  • There are good rolls apart from Caster+Perfect Fifth
  • Wave frame feels like the best frame for most perks
  • Vortex frame has bad ammo economy and average damage, avoid
  • Lightweight frame might be best for Wolfpack as the attack feels the fastest (haven't measured though)
  • Each energy type has a decent add clear combo:
    • Wave+Sacred Flame for Solar
    • Wave/Lightweight+Arc Conductor for Arc (Stormbringer didn't feel very good)
    • Wave+Insectoid Robot Grenades for Void (feels like Hatchling)

Bungie Suggestion Why is Lightning Surge damage so low? Please buff it

Upvotes

It costs an Aspect that complicates my melee but deals less damage than base Incinerator Snap (incl Ignition).

Consecration has a lot more range and more than 3 times (!!) the damage. I don't know of any other directly comparable Aspects with such a massive gap in potency. Lightning Surge has a faster cast animation but surely that's not worth getting a fraction of the range and damage. Please give it an actual damage increase that will move the needle, not just another +15% type thing.

If they want to preserve Titan/Warlock melee/grenade-focused class identities then just don't release Aspects like this and especially don't put them on Prismatic if their existence hinges on the condition of them being bad. Touch of Thunder and Controlled Demolition show that Titan can have good grenade-enhancing Aspects too, they should be the standard.

Discussion On Warlock, Prismatic has, already, severely diminished my desire to use some subclasses. Is this true for anyone else?

And I can't tell if this is a good or bad thing. I'm wondering if should Bungie, at this point, lean into Prismatic overall, putting all subclasses together (and, of course, adjusting aspects for balance as needed)?

Let's start with Void. Prismatic has Devour, but Void still has Child of the Old Gods. Is that enough of a reason to still run the subclass? So far, for me, the answer is no, even with Briarbinds. Whenever I consider using Void, I find myself weighing the utility of Void Soul over Transcendence, and, each time, I side with the latter over and over. You can also make Nova Bomb a lot more deadly with Star-Eater Scales.

What about Stasis? Well, we got Bleak Watcher on Prismatic, so what's the main draw of Stasis Warlock now? Iceflare Bolts? And I have to waste a whole aspect to get Stasis Shards, which is the easiest and most effective way for Stasis Warlock to get Frost Armor, a survivability tool? Yeah, I think I might just stick with Prismatic and Devour.

I've gotten a pretty good Threadling build on Prismatic, too, with the class item that has Spirit of the Stag and Swarm. Sure, I can't summon as many Threadlings as I can using Strand, but with Devour, I have access to a survivability tool that Strand Warlock never had, which means I'm more effective overall (not to mention increased resistance with Stag). Mataiodoxia is the only reason for me to select Strand Warlock at the moment.

That leaves Solar and Arc, which I both still use for different reasons. Solar has Speaker's Sight, Ember of Empyrean, and a ranged melee (plus Well, though I prefer Song of Flame overall). Okay, that's an experience I can't get on Prismatic. I can even dip more heavily into a healer roll if I want to. And Arc is something I've always enjoyed due to its synergy, and I don't have to waste an exotic to get an Arc Soul.

What are your experiences?

Bungie Suggestion Let us transmog exotic classitems

As in title. It is such a waste to introduce exotic class items but make them so they won’t fit most destiny fashion.

I have to choose either to hate the way my guardian looks or miss out on really nice build opportunities.

This topic is to make it trending so bungie will notice and take this problem into account.

And no 1 transmog won’t do. I want all my current transmogs to work. This is such an integral part of new builds.

Also for me this is not comparible to 1 exotic armorpiece that is/was ugly like statfire or wormhusk because this 1 mark or cape will go in a lot of builds (my warlock is good btw 👍)

Misc Destiny 2 Year 10 and more, new gamesradar interview

1.6k Upvotes

New gamesradar interview has given us a lot of new information about this year's Episodes and some information about Year 11. Here is a short overview of this.

Year 10 Episodes

General information

The Dread

  • Bungie says, that Dread a here to stay for a long run -"A lot of what the Dread is now, there have been pieces that had been prototyped and developed from years and years back," the game's combat area lead, Ben Wommack, explains. "The difference now was a few crystallizing factors. One was the end of the saga and finally having the right place for what we've fictionally thought of as the Witness' personal army. The other thing was trying to figure out the right way to do it, because making new combatant factions is actually extremely time-consuming. And there's times when we've done it before, and we're like, 'Well, that was a ton of work – was it really the right thing to do with a lot of time?'" and  "The Dread are definitely in the Destiny universe to stay," Wommack affirms. "That's another reason it's kind of hard to make them sometimes, because we don't want to make a new unit and then have you never see it again."

Prismatic subclasses

  • Bungie have plans for Prismatic - "Wommack doesn't commit to specifics because Bungie is still weighing up "a bunch of ideas," but does confirm the team is looking at "a lot of options" for how to build on Prismatic going forward. In fact, he says, "we discovered that we could do more than we originally thought.""

General information about Episodes

  • Bungie mentions that Episodes are fatter seasons, internally they are viewed not as 3 big content drops, but as 9 small ones. - " These drops will vary in size, with each Episode's first Act apparently rivaling the volume of a seasonal drop. Acts Two and Three will add rewards, activities, meta-defining Artifact mods, and more. A key focus with Episodes is making more changes more frequently to help Destiny 2 feel more alive, which is something that players have requested for years – and a little louder each year as Seasons grew increasingly familiar.
  • Bungie mentions, that ideas of the Coil and even Onslaught from Into The Light will be used in the future

Episode Echoes

  • Bungie mentions that the exotic mission in Act 3 is one of the biggest they've done and it's all thanks to the episodic model. It takes place on Nessus and greatly expands on this world
  • In every Episode Act 1 acts as standart seasonal offering, but the following acts serve as different content drops that add new content, artifact tiers and loot.

Episode Revenant

  • "Episode Two is going to be all about fulfilling the Eliksni prophecy of the Kell of Kells and putting an end to the Scorn menace Fikrul once and for all. We've been dealing with Fikrul since Forsaken. We've been following the thread with Eramis and other characters, like Mithrax, for quite a while now. We think about The Final Shape, and there's just no way to finish those threads and open new doors of what we could do with all these factions. So Revenant is about following that Eliksni thread, that Fallen thread in a way that we can have this satisfying conclusion for a bunch of the arcs that we've been telling with those characters, but also set up the future of the Fallen, the future of the Eliksni in this era.

Episode Heresy

  • "There's going to be an ancient power that is stirring in its halls," Stevens says of the warship, which will "shed its skin" as it's brought back in Heresy with some big changes while still retaining "iconic places" players will look for. "The events of the Episode are going to send shockwaves through the Hive pantheon. You've seen us doing things with Savathûn and Xivu Arath for a while now. The Hive pantheon has been in this strange place where it's like, well, one of the Hive gods is now taking Light – what does that mean for the future of the Hive? We really want to take this opportunity to stir the pot on what the future of the Hive might be like. This is us, again, saying: how do we have the impact of The Final Shape with these Echoes, with each of these Episodes, bringing a giant change to the world? We're going to finish some threads off, but we're also going to start opening up some doors to new stories to be told."

Year 11

  • Bungie have big plans for the Year 11, which they've been working on for a long time.
  • Year 10 serves as a catalyst for what happens next in Destiny 2, with some storylines of course remaining for the future.
  • With what is coming next Bungie doesn't want (at least for now) to develop one big storyline, but wants to develop the game world as a whole. - "A lot of that thinking about year 11, and how we start really getting into the next journey here after these Episodes, we're going to be leaning on that thinking as well. Because we've been doing this linear thing for a while now, and we want to get back to expanding our worlds and world-building, expanding the universe of Destiny in general." He pauses again. "And I think that's as much as I should probably say about it."

Discussion I really hope they start unsunsetting sunset strikes to add variety to the GM cycle.

I get that resources have to be allocated appropriately. But as someone that enjoys doing GM's throughout the season to avoid the downtime after the seasonal content is finished, it really sucks that we have such a small pool of GM and seasonal activity GM's to do. After a year of the same playlist it feel stale.

They've unsunset certain patrol areas like mars and Titan at this point. Not the full areas. But at least enough to do some seasonal content. I do understand that resources should be allocated to doing new things.

However, we only got a single new strike in Lightfall. It looks like it's gonna be the same thing for The Final Shape. I personally think we should be getting at least two new strikes per year. If not 3. If they can't do that then I would really love for them to also start reprising old sunset strikes from the missing planets at this point. I really miss some of them, and for the past year and a half the GM content has been basically the same thing. With the witness gone it makes sense those planets return.

This was sort of a promise they made when they started sunsetting older content to begin with. They said they would rotate through the older content and periodically unsunset old areas to bring back beloved content. But with Mars / Titan we really didn't get the old strikes back. Which was a shame because some of them were really fun. They already almost brought back 1/3 of the patrol area to add in new content. So if feels like if they just kept going we wouldn't have had almost a year of the same GM's on rotation.

Here's hoping they start to bring back old goodies into the rotatiion.

Bungie Suggestion Stasis crystals should NOT require a fragment or an aspect in order to be destroyed faster.

Honestly, Bungie, it has been around four years since Stasis was released, and I've yet to understand why Stasis crystals still require a fragment to destroy them faster. Stasis crystals no longer one-shot in PvP, so I truly don't understand why we can't simply destroy Stasis crystals faster without the help of what is essentially a useless fragment that takes up a slot. Additionally, Cryoclasm and Shatterdive need a rework or at least be made intrinsic abilities that are exclusive to Titans and Hunters. I can assure you that this would greatly improve the feeling of Stasis and Stasis Titans.

Discussion We are entering the great glimmer depression

1.2k Upvotes

I'm just saying that the most valuable and scarce resource right now is glimmer. Not ascendant shards. As a some-what new player I don't have any resources that can be exchanged for it. And I burn through glimmer in a second. Exotic focusing costs 60k, legendary - 25k. You barely get any from endgame, doesn't feel great. Grandmasters give equivalent of a penny. The best way to farm glimmer is heroic public events, they give ~15k with 65% ghost boost. And I don't want to farm for glimmer after I farmed for engrams. Lendary shards got removed and nothing given in return. Maybe change the ghost mods? Boost for 300/400/500%?

Update:

I see a lot of folks not having issues with glimmer. Are you actually focusing anything? Exotics or legendary weapons? I just got 150k glimmer from a couple of hours playing. Went to focus Rose from Shaxx. Got nothing, broke again. Farmed 10 exotic engrams from lost sectors, went to focus. Stompees, Orpheus rig. Didn't get lucky. Broke again. Maybe if I already had all the known god rolls I wouldn't have this problem. Please understand that there are a lot of exotics, a lot of legendary weapons worth focusing. I started playing in the season of the Wish. And quickly got myself around 1k legendary shards. And it was great, I didn't feel like I was low on resources at all.

Discussion Should bungie make contraverse hold work without needing chaos accelerant for void nades?

The exotic description says: Resist incoming damage while charging your Void grenade with Chaos Accelerant. Charged Void grenades return grenade energy on a hit.

It could instead say: Resist incoming damage while charging your Void grenades. Charged Void grenades return grenade energy on a hit.

If they did this we could use it with the vortex we get on prismatic and if they really wanna throw us warlocks a bone, they could also allow it to work with our prismatic grenade since half of its a vortex nade. Would be a nice new build but might be OP so idk if they would go that far.

Bungie Suggestion We need more spots in our inventory for each type of weapon (Kinetic, Energy, and Heavy)

Given how many great, different, and sometimes niche weapons there are in the game now, we could really use more than the 10 spots in our inventory for each weapon type (Kinetic, Energy, and Heavy). I find myself constantly trading stuff between my vault and my inventory to have the right weapon for the various activities I'm doing. Anyone else wish we could get more inventory slots for weapons?

Discussion Please Add A Focus Option For Class Item

Seriously, it's unbelievably annoying trying to farm a specific role for this item. It's not like farming for a god roll for a gun. These passive effects can drastically affect your playstyle, and sadly, not all passives are equal in strength. For example, farming for Stareater for Warlock has been a pain in the ass. I have gotten multiple teases with starfire, but never a stareater, and I'm on my 15th roll. It isn't like farming for a godroll for a weapon. Sure, some perks aren't as good as others, but the gun is still usable. Won't do as much damage, but still usable.

It's nice that we get the option to farm for it outside of the exotic quest after completing it once, but it just takes too much time for what you are trying to get. Atleast give players the option to focus some of the pale heart engrams they've gathered for rolling on the item. Make it cost 5 or something. Just give us a more consistent way of farming for it that isn't just farming chests randomly, or doing the exotic quest that requires two players.

Bungie Suggestion Weaver's Call buff was amazing Bungie.

"Strand final blows have a chance to generate perched Threadlings"

This is not really a chance but a progress bar with 3 kills netting you a threadling, 2 guardians or single boss. I was not really impressed when I saw "chance", but after testing and clarity this became absolutely strong buff.

This small change made me use this aspect for basically almost every build involving strand ( and certain prismatic ones )

I think Bungie should not stop in these neutral ways to buff certain aspects. there a lot where they are simply triggers for key-words and sometimes on super long cooldown.

  • Bastion
  • Vanishing Step
  • Dreng's Lash
  • Frostpulse
  • Winter's Shroud

All these are usually triggereing key words without much to them, ( Arc Souls, Helion, Child, Threaded Spectre are I would say strong and probably do not need anything much more neutral )

Ensnaring Slam is kind of a one I mixed about, on one hand it is just a key word and same as Dreng's Lash, but on the other it has very good uptime and AOE ( Also PVP would probably not survive another year of it )

Discussion Exotic class items are driving me nuts

I have been grinding for class items for 10+ hours now hoping for one of 4 different spirit of contact rolls for my titan, I’ve now got 64 rolls of it and out of all 64 i have found only 2 rolls of contact. How is that even a thing?

Question Final Shape Exotics from Rahool without running Legendary Campaign

Upvotes

So I’ve completed the Legendary twice now on my Hunter and Warlock. At this point I’d like to run my Titan just to get them through and the exotics look cool but I don’t know if I really want to run the campaign again on Legendary if I don’t have too.

I’m pretty sure that I’m going to get some reply’s with the obligatory “It’s not hard on Legendary” which is totally cool, but I’ve done it twice and my Titan is already sitting at 1984 gear.

From what I gather all I get from doing it is 1960 gear at the end, a few extra upgrade modules and at the end a choice of one of the exotics.

If that’s the case then from what I can see I can buy these from Rahool but do I need to have earned at least one from the campaign before I can buy both or can I just buy them straight off?

Only thing I want is the exotics. I might go back and do the campaign again later on but for now I want to be doing other stuff.

Bungie Suggestion can you fix/remove the overly dark shadows that covere your entire character when you switch to a light subclass?

if anyone is wondering if you switch to any light subclass your guardian/character has absurdly dark shadows which covers half of their armor/body: https://paste.pics/RA1UD

and it's really annoying, only switching to prismatic or a darkness subclass doesn't have this absurd level of dark shadows, I hope it's just a bug than an actual lighting update.

Bungie Suggestion I do hope un'breakable gets a cooldown reduction, 3 minute cooldown on a shield ability is just too long.

yes I tested the cooldown its 3 minutes long around 30% longer than bastion towering barricades for goodness sakes and those are absurdly long, I do hope the aspect and bastion can get cooldown reductions as a simple and effective buff for them, the next idea would be just increasing the duration of the shield by 2 more seconds as well to make it more impactful.

Question Warlords ruin solo final boss help

Hello guys. I am a hardcore Titan main and tried my first attempt at solo dungeons(non flawless). The first 2 bosses were fine but the last boss had me stuck for hours. I need some guidance on optimal loadout to use. I am using strand for survivability which I think is probably the best option. But what weapons have the more experienced solo dungeon players used for this. I have all exotic weapons/ armor and most meta legendaries. Please help me !

This build is great but painfully boring. Anything more interesting people are running?

Discussion Breach Executable is bugged to oblivion

  1. Doing it on expert doesn't fill progress for "any" completion bar only if you start it as a Private Match
  2. Cabal section of the activity has numerous bugs, from balls not spawning, to a complete reset of the section, after you have no progress bar nor a marker for what to do, but you have to find the rod to start it again if you want to progress the activity
  3. If you complete the activity but you leave to orbit before the end mission screen, the completion won't be counted in the weekly rewards
  4. The difficulty is a joke, it is harder than a Grand Master Nightfall on Expert, and easier than old world content on Normal
  5. The boss with the moving walls has instances where the walls come in a way when you can't dodge, or even desynced where the damage comes earlier than the wall itself, probably because of the server lag

These issues are making this activity a frustrating endeavour to endure. After The Coil this activity is a joke (and not even rewarding), and we have to endure this for 100 more days ? You must be kidding me.
